my Xanax.

They say we are the generation of stress, anxiety, identity crisises and burn outs. We work to hard, sleep to little and eat badly. But do we?

We are also the generation that speaks up. Takes steps to prevent this from happening and are strong enough to cry for help. I’ve never seen more people bravely admit their humanity or rather be proud of it. Everyone feels pressure, stress or anxiety sometimes and while some do more than others, the craving for a relief is the same.

Although I’m not totally there yet to speak up about axiousness that I rather cover up with a brave face an humour, I do admit it’s there. Some days more persistent than others. And while moving across the border -evidently- hasn’t made things easier, I found my natural substitute for Xanax (fyi something I’ll hopefully never use).
The sea always had a way of curing me from anything like a heartache or a cold but mostly it relieves me from stress. Thank god this country is founded on water and the sea is in arms reach. I found the place where I can breathe and although I crave it a bit too much lately, I’m happy to know it will always be there.

What’s your cure?
